Here we go again…

Friday, December 31st, 2004

Hope everyone survived the holidays okay. Siah’s still in Washington State, we’re getting ready to “ring in the New Year’s”, and everyone’s still trying to recover from Christmas. We’re gearing up for our next concert in Cincinnati on January 8th, and we’ve got a whole lot of stuff in the works right now. Our next event in WV is the Open Mic Night we’re hosting at Rendezvous (in Teays Valley) on Friday, January 14th. If you’d like to be a part of that, just contact us.

Happy New Year’s Eve.

Weekend in Hillsboro

Tuesday, December 21st, 2004

We played in Hillsboro, Oh on Friday, and it was great. Never been to that town before, but it was fun with the whole old-building/smalltown-life thing going on. Definitely looks like a Christmas movie.

Playing in the Colony Theater was cool. It was an old classic-style thing, and our name was up in lights. Woohoo.

They put us on a bit too early, before most of the people were there, but it was still cool, and a lot of fun.

For those of you not familiar with Ohio, they have these funky stores called “United Dairy Farmers”. They’re basically just weirdly-named 7-Elevens, with more Ice Cream. We found these things there called “Micro-Shakes”. They’re milkshakes that come frozen, and you microwave them to make them ready-to-eat.

Those definitely deserve a mention.

Weekend in Cincinnati

Tuesday, December 14th, 2004

So, we spent the weekend in Cincinnati performing. Siah even rescheduled his ACT to take place in Cincinnati so we could pull it off. Chalk it up to another crazy thing we’ve done.

Anyway, it was great. We played at Everybody’s Records on Saturday, and they were really nice. And it’s always great to be playing surrounded by vinyl. Our cousins surprised us by showing up, so we spent some time with them.

This weekend, we’re heading to Hillsboro and Columbus. We’re busy building a trailer to hold all the stuff we’ll need this weekend, as well as making more tshirts and all kinds of junk, er, I mean, merchandise. :) So besides working ourselves to death trying to get everything done, we’re having a lot of fun.

Muffins with cream cheese are surprisingly good.
